Fall knitting calls for something soft and luscious and the Sheltie Shawl is just that project! This shawl utilizes Mosaic knitting in a wonderfully soft yarn to give a luxe color work project that begs for a cool evening. The pattern is the latest from Pam Powers and is written for a NeedleTree favorite yarn, Weepaca from Big Bad Wool. The shop sample is knit in the newest cashmere from Blue Sky for an extra-special shawl. Both yarn bases will be available. The pattern calls for three colors of worsted weight yarn, solids work best with this pattern. The bundled suggestions include the three colors, either in Weepaca or Eco-Cashmere. We will have bundles with gray and white body and a few border color options. I can also help you with ideas if you have some stash yarn you want to use. K.T. will be teaching this KAL. In the first KAL meeting K.T. will review the pattern lay-out and the stitch techniques in the pattern. The second meeting will be to review any issues, questions or demo refresher. Class materials include the Sheltie Shawl pattern, a summary of the skills and Mom’s light refreshments!
