In keeping with our small skills workshop theme….we are happy to announce the first one for Fall 2016!! This workshop will focus on three decorative stitch patterns combined into a beautiful scarf. The skills portion of the class will teach not only cabling with a cable needle but will also delve into cabling without a cable needle! Our shop sample scarf is done in two colors of Imperial Ranch Denali, but this scarf is equally as lovely done in one color.
Catherine Paul will be teaching this workshop and the class materials include a Textured Tundra Scarf pattern, a summary of the skills and suggestions on modifying the length of your scarf and Mom’s light refreshments!
Skills required:
- cast on
- knit and purl
- simple chart following
Materials for workshop:
- 400 yds of Denali, or comparable soft sport weight yarn (200 yds of each color if using 2 colors)
- #6 needle
