FUN STASH-BUSTER GIFT WORKSHOP
At The NeedleTree
With the holidays fast approaching we thought it would be fun to have a stash-busting little gift idea in your pocket!! This nifty project works up in just a couple of hours and can be either a necklace or bracelet and uses about 100 yards of your nice soft lightweight stash. I used MadelineTosh Pashmina for our sample. The project knits up quickly and the transformation into the uber-chic finished piece is fun. We will have the fancy steam iron here for blocking before assembly, so join us with your stash treasure and we’ll provide the instruction and the snacks!
Skills required:
- cast on
- knit and purl
Materials:
- #4 needles
- sock, fingering or light sport from your stash
- a smallish button
- a clicker or reliable counting method (paper and pencil will be fine)
