BRIOCHE WORKSHOP 10-19-14
In keeping with our small skills workshop theme….we are happy to announce the next one!! And this one is a “two-fer”. The workshop will focus on brioche stitch – a lofty and uber-squishy wide rib. We will also start a brioche knit along using a simple Stephen West pattern. If you aren’t familiar with this fun designer this is a great intro into his colorful and creative world. We will use the class time and a worsted weight yarn to learn brioche. We will have two of the KAL projects underway to give you some ideas to cut loose with color combos. There will be two KAL meetings to go over any supplemental questions and peek at how all your projects are progressing.
Catherine Paul and K.T. will be teaching this workshop and the class materials include a Ferocious Briocheous pattern, a ball of worsted practice yarn, a summary of the new skills and Mom’s light refreshments!
